Community Park Trail is a glorious local trail, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Rowlett Creek. Monroe Lake is right by the Bob Woodruff Trail, and why not camp at Collin Park RV Resort and Marina if you're here at Monroe Lake.
Monroe Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is December.
