Summertime highs at Moccasin Pond commonly tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Moccasin Pond plunge into the 30's. Swamps like Big Cypress Pond next to Moccasin Pond make       for great places to have a look at, and close by you locate the Double Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail.
