Mitchell Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's near Mitchell Lake; Comfort Suites Brenham is a delightful location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Brenham come to Mitchell Lake, and lakes are such calm places,       why not stop at Lee Lake. Lake Somerville-Birch State Park is a good local campground; a scenic lake like Johnsons Mountain Lake is a wonderful site to pop by.
