Mitchell Lake is a good place of common rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout May while July is generally the driest month. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Brenham is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and there are plenty of folks from Brenham here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Mitchell Lake, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course,       frequently in the 70's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Mitchell Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Mitchell Lake Dam close to Mitchell Lake is scenic, and going for a hike on the Yegua Creek Park Nature Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
