Mitchell Lake is a reasonably wet place usually with a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Mitchell Lake that you need to       camp here for a while, Havens Landing RV Resort is a tremendous spot for that, and if you've had enough of Mitchell Lake, Lago Del Bosque-Upper Lake is nearby. During the summer months highs here at Mitchell Lake get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 60's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mitchell Lake fall into the 30's. You're sure to run into some                  good folks from Huntsville here, and Super 8 Montgomery/ Lake Conroe is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Go for a hike on the Sweetleaf Nature Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Executive Inn and Suites is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Mitchell Lake. There's glorious hiking along the Red Loop I, and a round of golf at nearby Lake Windcrest Golf Club is a pleasant way to kill some time.
