There's so much to do here at Mitcham Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Convenience RV Repair and Park is a great spot for that; folks from Huntsville       love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. During the warm days of summer here at Mitcham Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 70's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Mitcham Lake are in the 30's. Be careful coming to Mitcham Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Lakes are good; Azalea Lake is a lake that's close to Mitcham                  Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Huntsville. You're probably hooked on lakes, Elkins Lake is one of those nearby. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mitcham Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Coyote. From a rain point of view Mitcham Lake is a relatively normal site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
