Mission Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Mission Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 70's. Daytime highs       through the wintertime are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Mission Lake. So many exciting things to do at Mission Lake, so little time. Mission Lake is not far at all from Jacksonville. There's so much to do here at Mission Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Springs Campground is a wonderful location for that. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mission Lake has to offer,                  you can camp at Neches Bluff Campground, and there are great locations to look at along the Neches Bluff Trail. A quick trip to Butler Branch near Mission Lake is a good idea, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express CROCKETT.
