Ed's Marina is a great campground nearby; a delightful close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express CROCKETT. From a rain point of view Millar Lake is a relatively typical place; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and August is when it's the driest. Camp Olympia is a great local campground, and if you get bored of Millar Lake you could also pop by close by Lake Dawson. This lake is so wonderful. Huntly Millar Lake Dam

Lakeside RV Resort and Marina
 | 15 miles away Nice campground. However I would hold off until all construction has been completed. Great prices and nice scenery. One problem was that probably due to construction the ants were out in force. Once completed it will be one of the nicest parks on the north side of the lake........ If you're feeling lucky, you can make your way to our fishing pier to cast your line for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Striped Bass, and various other species. Whether you're looking for a steak, a cold beer or just good old Texas cooking, you?re in luck! Head on over to the Lakeside Bar & Grill, our magnificent 6,000 sq. ft. full-service restaurant / check-in center, where we can satisfy the smallest to the most generous of appetites. We have an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering steaks, fresh seafood and delicious sandwiches. We also feature a bar offering a full selection of beer, wine and cocktails. We are proud of our extensive, well-maintained facilities and understand the home-away-from-home needs of today's RV traveler. Our resort amenities include: beautifully landscaped grounds, 150 full hook-up concrete pad sites, sparkling swimming pool and heated outdoor spa, two bathhouses, large picnic pavilion, tennis and volleyball courts and much, much more. The surrounding area has something for everyone, whether it's biking, hiking, walking the nearby trails, hor... |
Carmona Lake
 | 19 miles away I'm not sure there is a public Carmona Lake. Years ago there was a private lake in the approximate location shown on the map, but the old access road is now closed. There is no marina on the lake to my knowledge. Can anyone give specific directions to ''Carmona Lake''? Any additional info would be appreciated. Thanks, Lee Mathews... |
