Do stop at Metzger Lake Number 2 next to Metzger Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and       camping at Hide-a-way RV Ranch is always a magnificent experience. Metzger Lake is a relatively wet place typically with much rain; during May this area sees the most rain while August is ordinarily the driest month. Summertime highs at Metzger Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 70's.
