If you are in Parker county it's always a good idea to stop by Meeker Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Cowtown RV Park is a good campground nearby; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Santa Fe Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Ramada Limited is a great location to get some rest, and Meeker Lake is right by the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge Trails. You'll find a scenic lake called Rufe Evans Lake near Meeker Lake, and the Crosstimbers Trail offers hiking

Meeker Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Weatherford Kampgrounds is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and Rufe Evans Hollow is another good location to go to close by. This place, Meeker Lake, it truly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trinity River - Clear Fork, and there's delightful hiking along the Benbrook Lake Trail. | |
