     There's some flowing water nearby, Backbone Creek is a stream you can explore during your stay, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Lake Marble Falls. If the weather is great here at Meadowlakes Number 2 Lake, you can go for a hike along the Camp Creek Trail, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Colorado River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Riverview RV Park since you're here at Meadowlakes  
   Number 2 Lake, and a delightful location for whitewater paddling is Sandy Creek.
At Meadowlakes Number 2 Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Meadowlakes Number 2 Lake tend to be in the 30's. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn on the Lake is a great place to spend
 
               a night or two; a perfect spot to camp here at Meadowlakes Number 2 Lake is Kamper's Korner. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Marble Falls; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Inks Lake State Park Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. This is a perfect area for folks who like lakes. Meadowlakes Number 1 Lake is a lake around here, and Granite Mountain is a peak you can observe from Meadowlakes Number 2 Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Meadowlakes Number 2 Lake. On a fine day at Meadowlakes Number 2 Lake you can take a hike along the Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail; Blue Lake Golf Club is a delightful golf course nearby. The annual rain here at Meadowlakes Number 2 Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and January on the other hand is the driest.
