This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Conroe is a brilliant place to get some rest; while you're here, you might as well have a look at Steep Hollow. Visit McRae Creek while you're here at McRae Lake, and you're probably interested in lakes, Spring Lake is one of those nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes McRae Lake a wet place;       most of the rain falls during May, and July on the other hand is the driest. Near McRae Lake you come across the Lone Star Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Sweetleaf Nature Trail.
