From a rainfall point of view McNees Lake is a quite typical location; during May this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. McNees Lake is splendid enough       to spend more than a day at, Artesian Park RV Campground is a splendid local campground, and a quick journey to Indian Creek is certainly a great idea. If you need a site to stay Comfort Suites Brenham is a wonderful choice; you'll probably meet some folks from Brenham here. There's always McNees Lake Dam to pop by near McNees Lake, and the Yegua Creek Park Nature Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. Through the summer months highs here at McNees Lake                  reach the 90's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 70's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 60's while the cold winter nights at McNees Lake are in the 40's.
