Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. While you're here at McGee Lake, you could also take a look at pretty Southwestern Public Service Lake. A magnificent close by hotel is Super 8 Amarillo. You'll need more than a day to look at everything McGee Lake has to offer, you can camp at The Village East RV Park. McGee Lake is a location that       is reasonably dehydrated frequently; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is December. All through the long summer days highs here at McGee Lake reach the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to McGee Lake.
