If you need a location to stay Quality Inn Victoria is a glorious choice; do stop at Adler Lake, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Candlewood Suites VICTORIA is a good place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything McDonough Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dad's RV Park. High temperatures at McDonough Lake during the summertime are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows fall       down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's; overnight lows at McDonough Lake through the wintertime commonly drop into the 40's. A gorgeous lake like Bass Lake right next door to McDonough Lake is a great place to pop by, and McDonough Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Lazy Longhorn Recreational Vehicle Park is a wonderful site to camp nearby. Coleto Creek is a brilliant local stream, and there are plenty of folks                  from Victoria here. The yearly rain here at McDonough Lake is about average; September is the month that gets the most rain, and March on the other hand is the driest.
