This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Crains Lake while you're here at McCallum Lake; it's nearby, and if you came to camp Lone Oak Recreational Vehicle Park is a fine place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Ray Roberts Greenbelt Corridor Trail, and don't forget to take a good little journey to Bray Branch. High temperatures at McCallum Lake       during the summertime are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while McCallum Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. A lake close by is Ray Roberts Lake. There's so much to do here at McCallum Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ray Roberts State Park is a pleasant place for that. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Denton is a great place                  to spend a night or two, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Elm Fork Greenbelt Trail. A common amount of rainfall falls here at McCallum Lake; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is January. On a perfect day at McCallum Lake you can take a hike along the Jordon Park Trail, and the smiling people of Gainesville like to hang out nearby.
