The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Matthews Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Matthews Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. You'll meet a lot of folks from Pampa here, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Huckberry Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all       the enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Matthews Lake. If you came to camp East Bluff Two Campground is a fine place to do that, and Lake McClellan is a nearby lake that you could check out. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at East Bluff One Campground is always a great experience; if you need a site to stay Best Western American Inn is a fine choice. Matthews Lake Dam has perfect water scenery and it's close to Matthews Lake, and AmericInn Pampa is                  a brilliant location to get some rest.
