Go to Mathisen Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Mathisen Lake Dam is not far at all from Mathisen Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lady Bird Johnson Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Mathisen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fredericksburg Koa is a glorious place for that; from Mathisen Lake you acquire a wonderful panorama of Deer Hill.

Mathisen Lake is a good location of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is December. This lake is so wonderful.
