Playing golf is lots of fun at Pecan Trails Golf Course; there's whitewater on Waxahachie Creek - South Prong for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take       a refreshing hike along the Loyd Park Trail, and Gifford-Hill Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Massey Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Massey Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hi Ho Camp Ground Of Dallas, and there's good hiking along the Cedar Hill State Park Trail. Massey Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and January on the other                  hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington. Summertime highs at Massey Lake usually tend to be in the 90's, and the overnight is rather chillier of course, ordinarily in the 70's.
