Do check out Hirsch Estate Lake next to Martin Lake, it's a wonderful lake; don't forget to take a nice little journey to Ryo Creek. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LAREDO-EVENT CENTER AREA is a great place to spend a night or two, and people from Laredo love to come here. Around Martin Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; all through September this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is March.
