This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Little Mac Lake in the neighborhood of Mandy Lake is a delightful spot to stop by, and of course Village Creek flows through this neighborhood. Mandy Lake gets much water; June is when you get the most rain here while April is mostly the driest month. Village Creek State Park is a good local campground, and dry warm beds await you       at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BEAUMONT NW. While you're here at Mandy Lake you can take a hike along the Roy E Larsen Sandyland Sanctuary Trail; swamps don’t sound that nice but Bellrose Slough in the neighborhood of Mandy Lake is pretty nice. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Mandy Lake rocks! Mandy Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Forest Hollow RV Park is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and Mandy Lake is not far                  at all from Beaumont-Port Arthur. Lakes are such calm locations, why not pop by Shinny Lake close to Mandy Lake; stopping by Big Thicket National Preserve is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. If the weather is splendid here at Mandy Lake, you can go for a hike along the Tyrell Park Trail; if you need a location to stay Days Inn Beaumont is a nice choice. High temperatures at Mandy Lake during the summertime months are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's.
