At Mandy Lake through the summer months highs are in the 90's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. All through the winter the highs are commonly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Mandy Lake are in the 30's. Hiking along the Tyrell Park Trail is nice fun. J & J Motel is a nice site to get some rest, and if time allows, Big Thicket National Preserve is       a national park worth stopping at. Mandy Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. After a long day outdoors Pinewood Inn is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and Big Mac Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Mandy Lake there are plenty of folks from Beaumont-Port Arthur; you can stay the night at Forest Hollow RV Park.                  All the outdoors amusing stuff in the vicinity of Mandy Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Take a hike on the Roy E Larsen Sandyland Sanctuary Trail, and Village Creek State Park is a magnificent campground here.
