This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Luther Lake, you'll locate Willow Creek Lake which is a pretty lake; do visit Marys Creek while you're here at Luther Lake. There's magnificent hiking along the Crosstimbers Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Luther Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rollahome Park, and tremendous hiking       is available along the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge Trails. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Benbrook Lake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard Fort Worth West/Lands End is a splendid site to spend a night or two. Luther Lake Dam is worth checking out since you're here, and Z Boaz Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Fort Worth is a great choice, and get covered with water paddling                  on Trinity River - Clear Fork. From a rainfall point of view Luther Lake is a pretty normal site; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is typically the driest month. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Luther Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Luther Lake. Yeah, come here to Luther Lake for a tremendous time. There's so much to do here at Luther Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sunset RV Park is a splendid site for that.
