On a perfect day at Luther Lake you can take a hike along the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge Trails, and a delightful close by hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Dfw West-Lands End. For the duration of the days of summer, highs generally are in the 90's at Luther Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Luther       Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Trinity River - West Fork is a splendid whitewater spot near Luther Lake; for you golfers we recommend close by Z Boaz Golf Course. Lake Como is a nearby lake that you could go to, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Benbrook Lake Trail. You can run the rapids of Trinity River - Clear Fork near Luther Lake. Marys Creek flows through this area, and there are plenty of folks from Granbury here at Luther Lake.                  There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Luther Lake called the Crosstimbers Trail. There's so much to do here at Luther Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rollahome Park is a glorious place for that.
