A visit to Lupton Lake is always a good idea. Long Branch is a good local stream, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Bob Woodruff Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Wagonwheel Mobile Home Park is a wonderful place to camp; hiking along the Wylie Community Park Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Rowlett Creek.

If you come at the right time of year, Duck Creek offers some magnificent whitewater; after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Mesquite
is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Plantation Place RV Resort, and if you need a place to stay Microtel Inn & Suites Dallas/Mesquite (Hwy 80) is a pleasant choice. An average
amount of rain falls at Lupton Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is January.
