Going for a hike along the Big Bend Ranch State Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and hiking along the Agua Fria Trail is tremendous fun. Not       much precipitation falls here at Lowes Tinaja; through the month of September you get the most rain around here; the driest month is March. A pleasant place to visit near Lowes Tinaja is Lowes Valley, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande.
