Lower Lake Avery is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; throughout May this area sees the most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Go for a hike on the Bull Creek Trail, and Kickapoo Campground is a great campground nearby. Not far from Lower Lake Avery you obtain some delightful water scenery at Lower Lake Avery Dam; lakes are such serene locations, why not       go to Upper Lake Avery. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Lower Lake Avery, for example Avery Lake, and Lower Lake Avery is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Ed's Marina is a splendid site to camp nearby. So many entertaining things to do here at Lower Lake Avery, too fine to be true. At Lower Lake Avery through the days of summer highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 70's. All                  through the winter highs are regularly in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lower Lake Avery.
