     You can take a little trip to Lost Pine Lake Dam if you're here at Lost Pine Lake, and after a long day outdoors Windsor Inn and Suites is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. This is a popular location for people from Tyler, and you're in all probability into lakes, Pleasant Retreat Acres Lake is one of those nearby. Throughout the summer at Lost Pine Lake highs are generally in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 70's.  
   Highs during the winter are regularly in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lost Pine Lake plunge into the 30's. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Lost Pine Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is August.
This place, Lost Pine Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors cool stuff. If you came for an overnight stay Noonday RV Park is a good place to camp; do take a
 
               hike on the Tyler State Park Trail. Camping is available at Cade's Cove, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Neches River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Tyler is a good choice, and obviously, this is a fine region for folks who like lakes, Club Thirteen Lake is a lake close at hand.

...t. There's not really any fast water to speak of, but you need to be prepared to make short portages and negotiate downed timber in the water. One area in particular you will need to tie some line off to your kayak and let it float under a downed tree, you crawl over the tree and then get back in. I'm sure the when and where the trees are down changes quite often.... And it looks like someone (probably the river authority) takes a saw down and cuts some of this out from time to time.

The put in location is correct. However, the take out is not. You need to float further down to the 175 bridge (less than 1/4th mile) and get out there.

I would suggest that experienced paddlers attempt this only when the water is high from heavy rains or when the dam is letting a lot of water out. There's vegetative litter stuck in the trees 10 foot above the water line.... So at some points of the year... This thing moves... And could represent dangers with the amount of timber.
