Lewis Lake is a nice lake right next door to Lost Lake; swing by Gillen Bayou it's a delightful place to stop by. Lost Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and August is the month with the least moisture. If you need a place to stay Best Western Dayton Inn & Suites is a great choice, and camping at Chain-o-lakes Resort is always a fine experience. This lake is so wonderful.
