Long Hole is a location that is quite arid usually; June is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture.       This lake is so wonderful. Quality Inn Uvalde is a great location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Long Hole that you need to camp here for a while, Clear River Campground is a great location for that. Summertime highs at Long Hole commonly tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Long Hole tend to be in the                  30's.
