Why not stop by a swamp like Big Slough while you're here at Little Brushy Lake, and a great sight of picturesque Couch Mountain is available. Rocky Branch RV Park is a great campground nearby, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Daingerfield State Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. That right there is a heap already,       but it goes on; Little Brushy Lake has it all. This is a great area for folks who like lakes. Big Brushy Lake is a lake in close proximity; swing by Burton Slough it's a wonderful place to go to. During the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Little Brushy Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Little Brushy Lake. Lakes are delightful;                  Rafe Lake is a lake that's next to Little Brushy Lake, and a short journey to Lee Springs is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Mount Pleasant here, and Best Western Mt. Pleasant Inn is a tremendous location to get some rest.
