Lipscomb and Son Reservoir is not the only spot close by, Dupont Cooling Basin is a close by lake; on a delightful day you can go to Sand Bayou, a swamp in close proximity       to Lipscomb and Son Reservoir. The yearly rainfall here at Lipscomb and Son Reservoir is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is March.
