Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GLEN ROSE is a tremendous spot to get some rest; paddling on Paluxy River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Frisia Celebrations; do take a hike on the Dinosaur Valley State Park Trail. Not far from Lesley Lake you obtain some great water scenery at Lesley Lake Dam, and North       Bosque River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. And that's not all you can do here at Lesley Lake. Lakes are great; Chimney Lake is a lake that's right next door to Lesley Lake; some of the water nearby flows, like McDermott Branch. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lesley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Oakdale Camp N Fish, and if you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Glen Rose is a great choice. This lake                  is so wonderful. Lesley Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is December. Summertime highs at Lesley Lake usually tend to be in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
