Holiday Inn Express Brenham, Texas is a pleasant location to get some rest, and Big Creek Marina is a tremendous campground nearby. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Robbins Lake is one of those close by, and you can go for a hike on the Lake Somerville Trailway. The amount of rain that falls at Lee Lake is close to the national average; May is the wettest month       with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Through the summer at Lee Lake highs are mostly in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 50's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lee Lake drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Brenham is a good choice, and going for a hike on the Yegua Creek Park Nature Trail is always a great                  adventure. At Lee Lake Dam close to Lee Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and if you've had enough of Lee Lake, Mitchell Lake is close by.
