     There's always Langham Lake Dam to have a look at right next door to Lansham Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Miller Springs Nature Center Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Fairfield Inn Temple is a great choice, and Temple RV Park and RV Sales is a brilliant local campground. Throughout the summertime at Lansham Lake highs are generally in the 90's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 70's.  
   During the winter highs are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lansham Lake are in the 30's.
An average amount of rainfall falls at Lansham Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Lansham Lake is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Davila RV Park is a pleasant spot to camp nearby; the Granger Lake - Taylor Park Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by.                Express Inn Temple is a splendid spot to get some rest; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Prewitt Lake 5.
Man, is there heaps of fun things to do close to Lansham Lake. If the weather is nice here at Lansham Lake, you can go for a hike along the Chalk Ridge Falls Park Trail. Lakes? Sure, Prewitt Lake 2 is around here.

I sat on the top side of waterfall and used a rope swing further down the trail, but no leeches. They really should look in to rebuilding a new draw bridge and maybe organizing a clean up day for the trails stream just past the waterfall and old brige. It has the potential of being like Bull Creek in the Austin Texas Green Belt....There are leeches in this waterfall!!!!!!!!!! But it's very pretty but not worth getting sucked on by leeches....
