Marshall Ford Dam is worth checking out if you're here, and Santa Monica Springs is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bull Creek, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Arkansas Bend Trail. Falconhead Golf Club is a splendid golf course close by, and going for a hike on the Waterfall Trail       is always a magnificent adventure. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Travis has to offer, you can camp at Lake Travis Inn and RV Park, and nearby you come across the Pecan Grove Trail which is a great hiking trail. After a long day outdoors The Crossings is a great site to spend a night or two; a great spot for whitewater paddling is Barton Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Travis that you need to camp                  here for a while, La Hacienda RV Park is a brilliant place for that; Vintage Villas is a brilliant spot to get some rest. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lake Travis is close to the national average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; December is the month with the least moisture. Defeat Hollow is a great place to take a look at in close proximity to Lake Travis, and obviously Bear Creek is a lovely stream that is worth taking a look at. All through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 90's at Lake Travis. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lake Travis. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do next to Lake Travis. Lake Travis is a place with many visitors from Austin-Round Rock. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. Nearby lakes?
