Bear Creek is next to Lake Travis and is always a joy to check out, and why not camp at Lake Travis Inn and RV Park while you're here at Lake Travis. Going for a hike on the Arkansas Bend Trail is always a perfect adventure; Beacon Cove is pretty close. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Falconhead Golf Club, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Barton Creek. That right       there is lots already, but it carries on; Lake Travis has it all. Defeat Hollow is a splendid place to have a look at nearby, and a spree to Lake Travis wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Santa Monica Springs. Summertime highs at Lake Travis generally tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lake Travis sink into the                  30's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Travis without first going for a hike along the Waterfall Trail, and there's whitewater on Bull Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. If you need a location to stay The Crossings is a splendid choice; since you're here, you could also stop by scenic Lake Travis. Go for a hike on the Pecan Grove Trail, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Austin-Round Rock for sure. Apache Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and dry warm beds await you at Vintage Villas. The yearly precipitation here at Lake Travis is about average; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while December is mostly the driest month. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Travis.
