Going for a hike on the Pilot Knoll Trail is always a great adventure, and camping at Silver Dome Mobile Park is always a brilliant experience. Lake Sharon is a good place of common rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January.       This is a popular place for people from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Leonard L Woods Park Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Furneaux Creek offers some great whitewater. For the duration of the warm months, highs usually are in the 90's at Lake Sharon, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Lake Sharon                  tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Sharon you can play some golf at Bridlewood Golf Club, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Denton Creek.
