Beautiful Lake Reed has much to offer visitors. From a precipitation point of view Lake Reed is a pretty common location; the month with most of the rain is May while December is mostly the driest month. Barker Branch is a delightful stream that is worth taking a look at, and going for a hike on the Cleburne State Park Trail is always a good adventure. | | Valley State Park Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and you could always discover Wildcat Hollow. Get wet paddling on North Bosque River, and Oakdale Park is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Paluxy River, and if you came for an overnight stay Oakdale Camp N Fish is a good spot to camp. you at La Quinta Inn and Suites Glen Rose. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lake Reed, you'll come across Squaw Creek Reservoir which is a scenic lake, and at Lake Reed you always meet someone from Granbury. Summertime
highs at Lake Reed ordinarily tend to be in the 90's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 50's; overnight lows at Lake Reed during the winter typically descend into the 30's.
