Good hiking is available along the Stubblefield Lake Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Paula has to offer, you can camp at San Jo Cove. This lake is so wonderful. Kleimann Lake is a perfect lake in the neighborhood of Lake Paula, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Paula; Huntsville State Park Trail is a nice local       trail. The Lone Star Trail offers hiking at its best, and after a long day outdoors Landing At Seven Cove (Vri) is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. Throughout the days of summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Lake Paula, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lake Paula sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
