Do stop by Lake Number 1 while you're in this part of Texas. Lake Number 1 gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Number 1 called the Onion Creek Trail; if you need a place to stay Best Western Southgate Inn & Suites is a brilliant choice. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Barron Lake Dam, and if you're a golfer
then a magnificent close by course is Plum Creek Golf Course. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Onion Creek, and camping is available at Crestview Rv Center. Near Lake Number 1 you come across the Rock Shelter Trail
which is a brilliant hiking trail, and the smiling people of Austin-Round Rock like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
