    The beauty of Lake Number 1 is reason enough to stop by. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Lake Number 1 has it all. Lake Number 1 is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lewisville Mobile Home Park is a great local campground; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Northshore Trail. A fine site to camp here at Lake Number 1 is The Vineyards Campground on Lake Grapevine, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Grapevine Lake is one  
   of those nearby. Going for a hike along the Leonard L Woods Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Denton Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot close by.
The annual rain here at Lake Number 1 is about average; May is when you get the most rain here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bakers Branch, and dry warm beds await you at Lewisville/Dfw Airport/North. In the event that you
 
               don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Furneaux Creek; Best Western Inn & Suites is a nice spot to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Number 1 you can take a hike along the Walnut Grove Trail, and an afternoon playing golf at Grapevine City Golf Course is always a delight. Summertime highs at Lake Number 1 ordinarily tend to be in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Lake Number 1 dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lake Number 1 you'll almost certainly meet some people from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington, and if you've had enough of Lake Number 1, Reservoir Number 1 is nearby.
