     A pleasant location for whitewater paddling next to Lake Number 1 is Denton Creek, and lots of folks from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington come here. For you golfers we recommend close by Grapevine City Golf Course, and lakes are such serene sites, why not stop by Reservoir Number 1. Take a side trip to Bakers Branch, and you can go for a hike on the Leonard L Woods Park Trail.
A common amount of rainfall falls here at Lake Number 1; the wettest month of the
 
   year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lewisville Mobile Home Park is a wonderful place to do that; good hiking is available along the Northshore Trail. Summertime highs at Lake Number 1 frequently tend to be in the 90's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, regularly in the 70's. Highs all through the winter are usually  
               in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lake Number 1 are in the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a scenic lake called Grapevine Lake near Lake Number 1, and if you need a spot to stay Sun Suites Of Lewisville is a fine choice. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Furneaux Creek; Sun Suites of DFW Airport-Lewisville is a great place to get some rest. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lake Number 1. Camping at The Vineyards Campground on Lake Grapevine is always a nice experience, and don't leave Lake Number 1 without first going for a hike along the Walnut Grove Trail.
