If you are in San Jacinto county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Livingston. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at 3278 Campgrounds and Marina is always a splendid experience, and a great close by hotel is Park Lane Hotel At Four Seasons. Going for a hike on the Mercy Trail is always a nice adventure. During the warm months at Lake Livingston temperatures are commonly in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. All through the wintertime

| | highs are mostly in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Lake Livingston.
Not far from Lake Livingston, you'll find Blue Lake which is a beautiful lake; enjoy a round of golf at Cape Royale Golf Club. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area near Lake Livingston has to offer. Livingston Dam is a lovely place right next door to Lake Livingston, and a great site to camp here at Lake Livingston is Wolf Creek Park. The high level | |

Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close
by Livingston Reservoir, and the Lake Livingston State Park Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Super 8 Livingston is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and close by you discover the Double Lake Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.

| I remember living about 3 or 4 dirt roads past the lake coming from the main entrance (somewhere between Elsie's Alley and Rene Ln) when I was a kid (1978-1979), and the place looked nasty back then, as I believe it was a slow development. Mostly cheap mobile homes, dirt roads and dangerous living, I could't go outside much with all of the snakes that were running loose within easy sight on a DAILY basis. I wouldn't mids driving through to see what has since become of it, but my memory is remembers this place vividly, and not in a good way.... |

Nice campground. However I would hold off until all construction has been completed. Great prices and nice scenery. One problem was that probably due to construction the ants were out in force. Once completed it will be one of the nicest parks on the north side of the lake.......th electric sling lifts, water and electric service. We offer reasonable rates for daily, weekly or monthly rentals. If you're feeling lucky, you can make your way to our fishing pier to cast your line for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Striped Bass, and various other species.
