     Go for a hike on the Leonard L Woods Park Trail, and Underwood Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Furneaux Creek, and Lewisville Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Bright Lake close to Lake Lewisville, it's a picturesque lake, and some nearby water includes McWhorter Creek. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake Lewisville is close to the national  
   average; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
Any time is a nice time at Lake Lewisville if you love the outdoors. A pleasant close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Lewisville, and don't leave Lake Lewisville without first going for a hike along the Elm Fork Nature Preserve Trail. Lake Lewisville is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Lewisville Mobile Home Park is a perfect
 
               local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hidden Cove Park is always a delightful experience, and there are plenty of folks from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington here.
Throughout the warm months highs here at Lake Lewisville get into the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lake Lewisville are in the 30's. There's nice hiking along the Pilot Knoll Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Coyote Ridge Golf Club. If you need a spot to stay LEWISVILLE HILTON GARDEN INN is a nice choice, and there are some great whitewater spots on Denton Creek.
