     Lake Kiowa is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, David's RV Trailer Park is a splendid local campground; do visit Lake Dealey, it's a beautiful lake. All through the warm months at Lake Kiowa temperatures are commonly in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lake Kiowa are in the 20's. There's always Lake Kiowa Dam to pop by next to Lake Kiowa. After a long  
   day outdoors Victorian Inn is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and you'll meet a lot of people from Gainesville here.
This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. A pretty lake like B and L Ranch Lake in the vicinity of Lake Kiowa is a fine spot to go to; going for a hike along the Elm Fork Greenbelt Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A good close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn, and if the weather is
 
               delightful, you can go for a hike along the Ray Roberts Greenbelt Corridor Trail. The annual precipitation here at Lake Kiowa is about average; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Ray Roberts State Park is always a good experience, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Jordon Park Trail.
