    Do stop by Lake Kiowa while you're in this part of Texas. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Kiowa; Ray Roberts Greenbelt Corridor Trail is a brilliant local trail, and do check out B and L Ranch Lake, it's a lovely lake. Lots of folks from Gainesville come to Lake Kiowa, and you can go for a hike on the Jordon Park Trail. Lake Kiowa is a good spot of common precipitation; most of the rain falls through May, and January is when it's the driest.
 
   Good hiking is available along the Elm Fork Greenbelt Trail; Lake Kiowa Dam is a delightful place, undeniably worth checking out. All through the warmest time of the year here at Lake Kiowa, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Kiowa temperatures fall to the 20's. Camping is available at David's  
               RV Trailer Park.
This lake is so wonderful.
