If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Gum Creek Dam, and Cat Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. is somewhat cooler of course, commonly in the 70's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 50's while Lake Jacksonville nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. A visit to Oak Point near Lake Jacksonville
