There are some good whitewater spots on Berry Creek, and Comfort Suites Georgetown is a splendid place to get some rest. Don't leave Lake Georgetown without first going for a hike along the Good Water Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby North Fork Lake. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lake Georgetown; May is the month that gets the most       rain, and December is the month with the least moisture. Good hiking is available along the Trailhead Park Trail, and a good place is Ox Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Georgetown is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Live Oak At Berry Creek Park is a splendid local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, San Gabriel River - North Fork offers some brilliant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking                  along the Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Georgetown that you need to camp here for a while, Berry Springs RV Park is a perfect spot for that. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Georgetown, Tx; enjoy a round of golf at White Wing Golf Club Legacy Hills. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do close to Lake Georgetown. There are plenty of folks from Austin-Round Rock here at Lake Georgetown; North Sam Gabriel Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Lake Georgetown while nighttime lows are regularly in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are usually in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Georgetown.   Comfort Suites Georgetown, Georgetown 3 miles away Downtown Austin and Temple 30 miles.
