Summer brings highs in the 90's to Lake Forest while night lows are frequently in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Forest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Lake Conroe Inn is a wonderful location to spend       a night or two. A great location to camp here at Lake Forest is Park On The Lake, and Fish Creek Dam is a wonderful spot, certainly worth stopping at. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. There's brilliant hiking along the Huntsville State Park Trail; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Montgomery/ Lake Conroe. Lake Forest is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain                  is May, and the driest month of the year is July. Good hiking is available along the Stubblefield Lake Trail, and a lake close by is Lake Bonanza. Don't leave Lake Forest without first going for a hike along the Sweetleaf Nature Trail, and if you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Wedgewood Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
