There's so much to do here at Lake Bulger that you need to camp here for a while, Abilene State Park is a great site for that; if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Abilene is a wonderful choice. Summertime highs at Lake Bulger usually tend to be in the 90's, and the night       is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 70's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 50's while Lake Bulger overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's.
