Lake Bratcher is a good place of typical precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Lake Bratcher throughout the months of summer are in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Bratcher. This       lake is so wonderful. Manere Mountain is gorgeous and can be made out from Lake Bratcher, and close by you hit upon the Dana Peak Park Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Lake Bratcher is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Circle T Trail Park and RV is a fine local campground, and Days Inn Copperas Cove is a good site to get some rest. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Lake Bratcher has it all. Not far from Lake Bratcher, you'll                  discover Gray Lake which is a picturesque lake; Bee House Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Lake Bratcher is a place with many visitors from Killeen-Temple-Fort Hood, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Inn & Suites is a good place to spend a night or two.
