If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Austin. Austin's Inn at Pearl Street is a nice location to get some rest; Deep Eddy Spring is always fun to check out. There is a perfect hiking trail next to Lake Austin called the Ridge Trail, and since you're here you can play some golf at Golf Links. A brilliant spot for whitewater paddling next to Lake Austin is Barton Creek.

After a long day outdoors Mansion At Judges Hill is a splendid site to spend a night or two; Tom Miller Dam is beautiful. While you're here at Lake Austin you can take a hike along the Bee Creek Trail, and you can run the rapids of Colorado River.

do that, and a fine sight of wonderful Mount Bonnel is available. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Lake Austin, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, typically in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and
overnight lows at Lake Austin through the wintertime generally dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Lake Austin you can take a hike along the Lake Trail, and camping at Austin Lonestar RV Resort is always
a good experience.
Getting to Bee Creek from Lake Austin is simple, and there are plenty of people from Austin-Round Rock here.
