If you are in Travis county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Austin. This lake is so wonderful. Oaks Rv Park is a magnificent local campground, and going for a hike on the Ridge Trail is always a fine adventure. But wait, there's more to do near Lake Austin. Lake Austin is a good place of typical rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and December on the other hand is the driest. Near Lake Austin you locate the Lake Trail which is a glorious hiking trail; don't forget to take a great little spree to Bee Creek. At Lake Austin you can catch a sight of Mount Bonnel, and Tom Miller Dam has brilliant water scenery.

This lake is so wonderful. A short trip to Deep Eddy Spring is always worthwhile, and dry warm beds await you at Doubletree Guest Suites Austin. You'll meet a lot of folks from Austin-Round Rock here. Mansion at Judges Hill is a delightful
site to get some rest, and if you're a golfer then a delightful nearby course is Golf Links.
Summertime highs at Lake Austin typically tend to be in the 90's, and the night is rather colder of course, commonly in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lake Austin.
