Not far from Lake Arlington you acquire some great water scenery at Arlington Dam, and whitewater paddling is great on Johnson Creek. The friendly folks of Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington like to hang out nearby, and paddling on Trinity River - Clear Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Lake Arlington called the Mountain Creek Lake Park Trail; if you're a golfer       then a glorious nearby course is Meadowbrook Golf Course. On a great day at Lake Arlington you can take a hike along the Loyd Park Trail, and after a long day outdoors Forest Hill/Fort Worth Area is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Lake Arlington gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Cottonwood Creek is a charming stream                  that is worth taking a look at, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Rush Creek Lake is just a very short distance away. All through the summer at Lake Arlington temperatures are generally in the 90's. Summer night lows dip down to the 70's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Arlington. This place, Lake Arlington, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you came to camp Arlington Forest Acres Park is a brilliant site to do that, and if you need a place to stay Arlington-Days Inn is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Lake Arlington that you need to camp here for a while, Lakeview Mobile Home Cmnty is a pleasant site for that, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Village Creek Historical Area Trail.
