While you're here at Lake Ament, you could also visit charming Cheosa Waterhole, and you can stay the night at B J RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Terlingua Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and if you come at the right       time of year, Terlingua Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. Lake Ament is a location that is quite dehydrated regularly; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; March meanwhile is the driest month. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Lake Ament. All our national parks are great places to have a look at, and Big Bend National Park is no exception, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for                  you then, we recommend Terlingua Creek. Lake Ament is a great place to visit for more than one day, Big Bend Motor Inn is a great place to camp nearby, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Apache Canyon Trail. Summer at Lake Ament arrives with high temperatures in the 100's. Summer night lows descend down to the 70's.
