After a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn Galveston is a splendid place to spend a night or two; there's good hiking along the Galveston Island State Park Trail. Any time is a nice time at The Lagoon if you have a thing about the outdoors. A tremendous beach close to The Lagoon is East Beach, and if you came for an overnight stay Bayou Shores RV Park       is a tremendous site to camp. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to The Lagoon. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and night lows during the winter for The Lagoon tend to be in the 40's. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites On The Beach, and Fort Point is close at hand and always nice to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. While                  you're here at The Lagoon, you could also take a look at wonderful Horseshoe Lake, and camping is available at Gulfview Trailer Park. The high level of precipitation makes The Lagoon a pretty wet site; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is March.
